Camping on the Surin Islands, Thailand
Day One
- Hotel Pickup: We recommend staying in Khao Lak or Kuraburi the night before your trip.
- 08:30: Arrive at Greenview Pier. Register your name and choose your snorkel equipment: mask, snorkel, and fins.
- 09:00: Depart from the pier to Surin Island by speed boat (approximately 1 hour).
- 10:00: Explore the underwater sea world at Bon Bay and Sapparod Bay, where you can easily see coral reefs, sea anemones, and clownfish.
- 12:00: Lunch at the Mu Koh Surin national park headquarters and relax on the beach.
13:00: Visit the Moken village, home to the sea gypsies who maintain traditional ways of life, and snorkel at Chong Kard Bay, home to clownfish. - 15:30: Return to the Surin National Park camping area.
- 18:00: Dinner at the national park restaurant and relax at your private tent.
Day Two
- 07:00: Enjoy breakfast in the National Park Restaurant.
- 09:00: Choose between taking a traditional Thai longtail boat snorkelling, or exploring the nature trails on the islands.
- 12:00: Retuturn to the restaurant for lunch.
14:00: Check out and prepare to head back to the mainland. - 15:30: Depart for the Surin Islands by speedboat.
- 16:30: Arrive back at Greenview Pier and enjoy some light refreshments before heading back to Khao Lak, or onwards to your next destination.

Our Surin tour departs from private pier further north. It offers the fastest route to the Surin islands, with a travel time of only one hour by speedboat. The pier is easily accessible, providing a hassle-free starting point for your island adventure.

Is it safe to travel to the Surin Islands with children?
Yes, the Surin Islands are a family-friendly destination. The calm waters and educational experiences, such as visiting the Moken village, make it an ideal spot for families with children to explore and learn about marine life and local culture.
However, to ensure the comfort and safety of all of our guests, children under 4 years of age are not permitted to join speedboat tours.
