The final stop of the day is in the Moken sea gypsy village. The Moken people have been living a semi-nomadic lifestyle in the Andaman sea for thousands of years. Since the tsunami in 2004, many Moken families have chosen to abandon their traditional Kabang houseboats, and come to live on the Surin Islands more permanently.
